AboutYuli Serfaty

Ontology of Masks explores the philosophical and psychological differences between tribal and western mask use, and the concept of Becoming-Animal. As my final project in Central Saint Martins, the project is research based, lead by writing and visual experiments represented below. It was then presented to the public in the Degree Show and was accompanied by a book of my making, telling the visual and conceptual journey. The book is introduced by an article by Gerald L. Bruns: Becoming-Animal, Some Simple Ways.
